The Vietnamese futsal team closed the 2026 Asian futsal qualifiers with a convincing 4-0 victory over the Lebanese futsal team, thereby securing a ticket to the next round with an all-win record.

Right from the first minutes, coach Diego Giustozzi's students entered the game with confidence. Within just one minute (minute 9), Vietnam scored two goals: Da Hai opened the score after intercepting and finishing neatly, before Manh Dung doubled the gap from a quick counter-attack. In the 11th minute, Ngoc Anh dribbled the ball through the left wing and then assisted Tu Minh Quang to easily raise the score to 3-0.

In the second half, the advantage continued when Lebanon's Hassan Alame received a red card in the 24th minute. Just 15 seconds after playing with an extra player, Ngoc Anh took advantage of the opportunity to score the winning goal 4-0. In the remaining minutes, Lebanon could hardly create significant pressure on goalkeeper Van Tu's goal.

Closing the qualifying round, the Vietnamese futsal team won all 9 points after 3 wins, leading Group E and officially participating in the 2026 Asian Futsal Finals, taking place in Indonesia from January 27 to February 7, 2026.
