At the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship, the Vietnamese Futsal team received a big reward.

VHO - With a perfect record to enter the Final Round of the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship, the Vietnam Futsal team was awarded 600 million VND by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

At the end of the qualifying round, coach Diego Giustozzi and his team won all three matches, defeating Hong Kong (China) 9-1, China 7-2 and Lebanon 4-0.

Vietnam Futsal team participated in the Asian Futsal Finals for the seventh consecutive time

At the tournament, the Vietnamese team showed a vibrant attacking style of play, scoring a total of 20 goals and conceding only 3.

With the top spot in Group E, the team has completed the goal of winning a ticket to the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship.

Immediately after this achievement, the VFF Standing Committee sent congratulations to the whole team and decided to reward coach Diego Giustozzi and his team with 600 million VND.

This is a well-deserved recognition for the serious training process and dedicated performances of captain Pham Duc Hoa and his teammates.

During the remaining time of 2025, the Vietnamese team will aim for the 2025 SEA Games taking place in December.

After that, the whole team will continue to focus on the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship, held in Indonesia from January 27 to February 7, 2026 with the participation of 16 strongest teams on the continent.

By winning a ticket to the 2026 AFC Futsal Championship, the Vietnam team became the fourth Vietnamese football team to participate in a continental finals in 2026, after the women's team, U23 men's team and U20 women's team.

According to VFF, today, September 25, the Vietnamese team will leave China to return home and is expected to arrive in Vietnam at 6:30 p.m. the same day, concluding the journey of preparing and successfully competing in the 2026 Asian Futsal qualifiers.
