Thanh Hoa has many strong sports participating in SEA Games 33: Opportunity to break through for medals

VHO - The 33rd SEA Games, taking place in December 2025 in Thailand, promises to be the "golden arena" of Thanh Hoa sports, with most of the strong sports participating. This is considered a great opportunity for Thanh Hoa athletes to continue to affirm their position and make important contributions to the overall achievements of the Vietnamese sports delegation.

SEA Games 33 has 50 competitions with 574 sets of medals, bringing together familiar sports such as athletics, swimming, archery, shooting, weightlifting, rowing, canoeing and many martial arts such as judo, karate, pencak silat, taekwondo, boxing, jujitsu, wushu, kick-boxing.

In particular, these are also the sports that have brought many impressive achievements to Thanh Hoa sports in recent SEA Games.

Thanh Hoa diving team with athlete Cao Thi Duyen and coach Pham Tuan Anh made the most contributions to Vietnamese sports at SEA Games 32 with 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and broke 2 SEA Games records.

The presence of a series of strengths helps Thanh Hoa stand before the opportunity to improve and enhance its performance.

However, the absence of some "gold medal" events such as Vovinam, diving, aerobics or dance sport is a great regret, especially when Vovinam and diving have brought many consecutive gold medals to the Vietnamese delegation as well as Thanh Hoa sports.

Currently, Thanh Hoa's high-performance sports teams are focusing all their efforts on training, with strong investment in key sports and athletes towards the 33rd SEA Games.

With careful preparation, Thanh Hoa sports is expected to continue to make an important contribution to the goal of bringing Vietnam to compete in the top group of the entire delegation at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games.
