Thanh Hoa: River water rises, thousands of houses flooded

By the morning of September 30, major rivers in Thanh Hoa such as Ma River, Chu River, Buoi River, Cau Chay River, Yen River, Len River, etc. had all issued alert levels 1-3. Rising river water had flooded many houses outside and inside the dike.

There are no specific statistics yet, but thousands of houses in the communes of Cac Son, Nong Cong, Thang Binh, Trung Chinh, Thang Loi, Truong Van, Tuong Linh, Cong Chinh, Trieu Son... are flooded 1 - 2 meters deep.

During the night of September 29 and early morning of September 30, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command and local authorities mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers along with vehicles to work all night to help people evacuate to safety.
