Standing Secretariat: Ha Tinh must build a transparent and convenient digital government

Speaking at the 20th Congress of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized: 'Ha Tinh needs to promote digital transformation, promote administrative reform, and build a transparent and convenient digital government'.

On the morning of October 1, the 20th Congress of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee (term 2025 - 2030) officially opened. Outstanding results

Presenting the draft political report at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Duy Lam, Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, said that the economy continued to grow, reaching 6.4%/year, the economic scale reached 126,000 billion VND, 1.5 times higher than at the beginning of the term; GRDP per capita was 94 million VND.

The economic structure is shifting in the right direction; budget revenue for the 2021-2025 period is estimated at VND88,500 billion, an increase of 1.6 times compared to the previous period. Total social investment capital increased by 47%.

Industrial production continues to be the main driving force, growing by nearly 7% per year; many large-scale projects are being implemented such as Vung Ang II Thermal Power Plant, Bac Thach Ha Industrial Park (VSIP), Vinhomes Vung Ang, battery and electric car factories... Agriculture grows by more than 3% per year, meeting the province's targets for completing the task of building new rural areas.

Ha Tinh is among the 15 provinces that have effectively implemented the Government's Project 06. The entire province has built more than 12,000 solid houses for poor households and policy families; the poverty rate has decreased to 1.9%...

Evaluating the results achieved, the Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee also pointed out a number of shortcomings, limitations and causes; at the same time, pointed out 5 lessons learned in leadership and direction during the past term.

Focus on building an honest government

Speaking at the congress, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu sent the Politburo, the Secretariat, and General Secretary To Lam's deep condolences to the Party Committee, government, and people of Ha Tinh province for the heavy impacts and damages caused by storm No. 10. Mr. Tran Cam Tu hopes that Ha Tinh will soon overcome difficulties and continue to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu congratulated and commended the results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Tinh in the past term, thereby actively contributing to the overall achievements of the whole country.

In the new term, Mr. Tran Cam Tu suggested that Ha Tinh needs to continue to determine the building and rectification of the Party and persistently build a clean and strong Party organization; promote the responsibility of leaders with the motto "words go hand in hand with actions, do more than talk, and hold fewer meetings".

Continue to strictly implement the policies and resolutions of the Central Committee, actively study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle and regulations on setting an example for cadres and party members; innovate cadre work; continue to strengthen inspection work, fight against corruption, negativity and waste.

At the same time, focus on building an honest government that operates effectively, efficiently, and effectively. Build a team of grassroots cadres with comprehensive capacity, close to the people, dedicated and devoted. Promote digital transformation, promote administrative reform; build a transparent and convenient digital government. Improve the quality of commune-level government activities; strengthen the great national unity; and strengthen the close relationship between the Party and the people.

The Standing Secretariat emphasized that Ha Tinh province continues to focus on rapid and sustainable economic development, striving to achieve the target of double-digit economic growth; focusing on implementing strategic breakthroughs to promote the digital economy, develop modern in-depth industry, and build ecological and commodity agriculture.

The 20th Congress of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee took place from September 30 to October 2, with 400 official delegates.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the congress determined the theme "Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the tradition of solidarity, cultural values, people and high-quality human resources of Ha Tinh; innovation, comprehensive, fast and sustainable development".

The 20th Congress of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, has the task of summarizing and evaluating the results achieved in the term 2020 - 2025 and determining the directions, goals and tasks for the period 2025 - 2030.
