Vietnamese youth spread message of peace and innovation in China

From July 26-30, 2025, the delegation of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations attended the 11th ASEAN-China Young Leaders Exchange in Xi'an (Shaanxi Province) and the World Youth Peace Congress in Beijing (China) at the invitation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. At these forums, representatives of Vietnamese youth shared profound messages about the relationship between peace and innovation, receiving the approval of many international friends.

The delegation attended the 11th ASEAN - China Young Leaders Exchange with main activities including the opening and welcoming ceremony of Shaanxi province, Youth Dialogue for Peace, and cultural performances between delegations from ASEAN countries and China.

The opening ceremony and Youth Dialogue for Peace were pleased to welcome Comrade Xing Shanping, Deputy Secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Comrade Yuan Mindao, Chairman of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, to attend and deliver speeches.

During the dialogue session with the theme “ Peace and Innovation”, the representative of Vietnamese youth shared the message: “Peace and innovation are not two separate concepts, but complement each other to create a humane and sustainable future”. The speech received positive responses from international friends, contributing to affirming the pioneering role of Vietnamese youth in building a regional community for mutual development.

During the cultural exchange program at Yuanjia Village (Shaanxi, China), the Vietnamese delegation also left a good impression with the unique performance "A Round of Vietnam", which was carefully and elaborately prepared, contributing to bringing the beautiful image of Vietnam to many international friends.

The delegation attended the World Youth Peace Congress, themed “Together for Peace” held at Peking University, China, as a guest. The Congress was attended by more than 3,000 delegates from over 130 countries on all continents.

Comrade Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union also attended the Congress.

Comrade Li Hongzhong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, attended the opening ceremony, read a letter from President Xi Jinping and delivered a speech at the World Youth Peace Congress.

The working trip not only demonstrates the proactive, positive and responsible role of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations in people-to-people diplomacy, but also expands the network of friendship youth connections, creating a foundation for sustainable cooperation between Vietnam - China - ASEAN for a peaceful and developed future.
