Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee regulates subsidy regime for veteran revolutionary cadres and martyrs' relatives.

Regulations of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee clearly state that veteran revolutionary cadres and pre-uprising cadres will receive a subsidy of 2 million VND/month; relatives of martyrs will receive support of 2 million VND/month.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has just issued Regulation No. 640 on the regime and policies for veteran revolutionary cadres , pre-uprising cadres and relatives of martyrs cared for by the City Party Committee.

According to regulations, the implementation of regimes and policies for veteran revolutionary cadres, pre-uprising cadres and martyrs' relatives cared for by the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee will be paid from the Policy Support Fund managed by the City Party Committee Office.

They are veteran revolutionary cadres and pre-uprising cadres who have been recognized by competent authorities, whose names are on the management list of the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Department of Home Affairs; and relatives of martyrs who are directly cared for by the City Party Committee.

Regarding the regular allowance regime, veteran revolutionary cadres who are seriously ill and cannot take care of themselves will be paid according to Instruction 04 of the Central Organizing Committee at a level equal to 1.5 times the basic salary per month.

Revolutionary veteran cadres (except the above-mentioned cases) receive a monthly allowance of 2.5 million VND; pre-uprising cadres receive a monthly allowance of 2 million VND; relatives of martyrs cared for by the City Party Committee receive a monthly allowance of 2 million VND.

The regulation also clearly states that when veteran revolutionary cadres, pre-uprising cadres or relatives of martyrs cared for by the City Party Committee pass away, the City Party Committee will organize a funeral with a cost of 2 million VND and 1 wreath.
