Removing many "bottlenecks" to make Vinh city more and more worthy

Along with urban expansion, many key infrastructure projects have been untied and implemented vigorously. Vinh has been catching the wind with the appearance of a coastal city and a smart city, meeting great expectations in the future.
True to the expectations and hopes not only from the Government and people of Vinh City, but also from the people of Nghe An Province, the Government of Nghe An Province, Vinh City has now officially removed the "tight shirt" compared to the strong development with many breakthroughs. The expansion of Vinh City in both area and population has clearly shown the picture of the City with a coastal urban area and is gradually transforming into a smart city. Along with the expansion of administrative boundaries, Vinh City now officially has an area of 166.22 km2 and more than 580,669 people. Vinh City now has 33 administrative units, including 24 wards and 9 communes. The face of Vinh City has completely changed with the direction of a coastal urban area from the complete merger of Cua Lo town into Vinh City officially since December 2024. Vinh is gradually becoming bustling not only during the day, but also at night, many night food courts, commercial and entertainment areas have become attractive destinations for not only locals but also tourists. The picture of the night economy in Vinh City has gradually become clear with the story of infrastructure investment for walking street projects, ancient citadel night food courts... One of the key projects in Vinh urban beautification is the project to upgrade Lenin Avenue with a length from Vinh International Airport to Ho Chi Minh Square. This is considered the largest avenue in Vinh city today, with the investment in upgrading this route reaching more than 560 billion VND. After completion, Lenin Avenue will become a major highlight for the urban face of Vinh City. Phase 1 of the project has now been basically completed. In 2025, the project will continue to be implemented and completed with phase 2. With the efforts of the Vinh City Investment and Construction Project Management Board, many projects to upgrade Vinh's urban infrastructure have been implemented vigorously, bringing about clear results. In particular, the proactive coordination and removal of some "bottlenecks" that have not been implemented for many years on some inner-city routes. For example, the Hai Thuong Lan Ong route intersecting with Tue Tinh, Nguyen Sy Sach extension... Removing the "bottlenecks" on the routes helps to further open up the urban traffic infrastructure, creating a seamless and open connection between the inner city roads and the suburbs and neighboring local areas. That contributes to promoting convenient trade and economic development in all aspects. The initial investment in urban infrastructure has clearly shown its effectiveness, which is being recognized with the story of clear roads, airy sidewalks, greener, cleaner, more civilized streets. Many streets have clearly changed such as Nguyen Van Cu, Minh Khai, Le Hong Phong... people have greatly benefited from the investment in beautification, the urban face has added great highlights. The urban landscape has changed, contributing to reducing traffic congestion during rush hours in the inner city. Moreover, thanks to the renovation, investment and upgrading work, the difficult problem of urban flooding has been and is being clearly improved, contributing greatly to the fight against climate change... The scientific and methodical renovation and upgrading of streets brings practical benefits such as creating convenient and neat urban parking lots, ensuring traffic order and safety, and meeting people's parking needs. As the Lunar New Year 2025 approaches, urban beautification projects are striving to complete the final stages, ensuring green and clean roads for the city, so that residents and tourists can welcome a new year of peace and prosperity. Director of Vinh City Construction Investment Project Management Board, Nguyen Ngoc Phong, said that this is the most urgent time for construction units to complete the renovation of inner-city roads to ensure safety and cleanliness for people to enjoy Tet and welcome spring. The Board as well as construction units also highly appreciate responsibility and make every effort to ensure that projects are completed and put into progress on schedule, even earlier....
