Another Pedagogical University announced its own exam structure for 2025.

(Dan Tri) - Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 has just announced the project and structure of the independent exam for admission in 2025.

Accordingly, the school's own exam includes 8 subjects: literature, math, English, history, physics, chemistry, biology, and geography.

The Literature subject is tested in the form of multiple choice and essay. The remaining subjects are tested in the form of multiple choice. The exam fee is 200,000 VND/subject.

The exam is expected to take place in June at Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 and some high schools in Vinh Phuc province.

The test is constructed in the direction of competency assessment, the questions are linked to meaningful contexts to measure the manifestations of the assessed learning competencies, especially in teacher training majors.

The exam content is within the 2018 general education program, mainly grade 12.

The weights of the rating levels are as follows:

Each subject's exam is graded on a 10-point scale. Question formats used include: multiple choice, true-false, matching, short answer, and essay questions.

The school will send the certificate of exam results 2 weeks after the exam date. The results of the candidates will be used for admission to the university training programs of the school according to the candidate's application.

University of Education 2 currently has 13 faculties, training high school bachelor's programs in pedagogy, 22 master's and doctoral programs. Since 2009, the school has had an Examination Center.

This year, the school plans to enroll students using 5 methods, including direct admission and priority admission according to regulations; considering transcripts, considering high school graduation exam scores; considering the results of the capacity assessment exam of 2 national universities and Hanoi National University of Education, Ho Chi Minh City National University of Education; and admission using the results of the separate entrance exam of Hanoi National University of Education 2.

According to the school, 2025 is the first year of implementing the 2018 general education program, completing a cycle from grade 1 to grade 12.

With the goal of forming qualities and capacities for students, university admissions must change.

The reality of university training enrollment of Hanoi National University of Education 2 in recent years shows that it is necessary to have a separate enrollment period.

In particular, the school has enough human resources to build a test bank, has a specialized department called the Testing Center and Education Quality Assurance, and the exam organizing unit is the Training Department.

Thus, currently the whole country has 3 pedagogical universities that organize their own exams: Hanoi Pedagogical University, Pedagogical University 2 and Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogical University.

In recent years, the education sector has always been among the top with high benchmark scores. According to statistics from Dan Tri reporters, in 2023, there will be nearly 27 majors with benchmark scores of 28 or higher, meaning an average of more than 9.3 points/subject to pass. Of these, there are 5 majors of pedagogical schools, accounting for nearly 20%.

The benchmark score at many teacher training schools is also above 27 points. This means that candidates need to achieve an average of over 9 points per subject to have a chance of being admitted.

In 2024, the highest benchmark score of Hanoi National University of Education will be 29.3 and the highest among the announced pedagogical schools.
