According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today's weather (October 14): Heavy rain in many areas across the country; during thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

From the night of October 13 to the end of October 15, the Northern Delta region and provinces from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh will have moderate rain, with common rainfall of 40-80mm, locally heavy rain over 150mm; the midland and mountainous areas of the Northeast will have showers and thunderstorms, with common rainfall of 20-50mm, locally heavy rain over 90mm.

Hanoi area from the night of October 13 to the end of October 15 will have rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, with rainfall of 30-70mm, locally heavy rain over 90mm.

The area from Quang Tri to Da Nang and the Central Highlands will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with rainfall of 10-25mm, and locally heavy rain of over 50mm. Thunderstorms in these areas will continue for many days to come.

Hoang Sa special economic zone (Da Nang): Scattered showers and thunderstorms; in thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind level 6-7; visibility is over 10km, decreasing to 4-10km in the rain; East to Southeast wind level 3-4; waves 0.5 - 1.5m high.
