Letter from the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province congratulating the Buddha's birthday on Buddhist calendar 2568

On the occasion of Buddha's birthday, Buddhist calendar 2568-DL.2024, on behalf of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, I respectfully send my best wishes to all Venerable Sangha, monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province!

This year's Buddha's Birthday took place in an atmosphere where the people of the whole province competed to achieve achievements to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Quang Nam province, term 2024-2029. This is a large-scale political activity, an opportunity for all classes of people, Venerables, monks, nuns and Buddhist followers to respond and participate in meaningful activities to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, contributing to fostering the increasingly strong great unity bloc of the people in the province.

In the joy of celebrating the 2568th Buddha's Birthday, I believe that with your role and prestige, you, the Venerable Sangha, monks, nuns and Buddhist followers, will continue to promote the tradition of patriotism, "protecting the country and bringing peace to the people", spreading the good cultural and ethical values of Buddhism, closely accompanying the nation, implementing well the policies of the Party and State, actively responding to patriotic emulation movements, the movement of "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses", humanitarian and charitable activities together with the Party Committee, government and people in the province to successfully carry out the tasks of socio -economic development, national defense and security, striving to build the homeland of Quang Nam to be more and more civilized and prosperous.

Once again, I would like to wish all Venerable Sangha members, monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province a peaceful and fulfilling celebration of Buddha's Birthday and the 2024 Rains Retreat in the great unity of the entire nation.
