Leaders of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to celebrate Buddha's birthday

Vice Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung presented flowers and gifts to congratulate Most Venerable Thich Thanh Van, Head of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee.

On the occasion of Buddha's birthday in 2025 - Buddhist calendar 2569 and the event of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha hosting the United Nations Vesak Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, on the morning of April 27, Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to Most Venerable Thich Thanh Van, Head of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee, abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda (Crane Pagoda); Most Venerable Thich Thanh Dung, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee, Principal of Hai Duong Buddhist College; Most Venerable Thich Dieu Huong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee in charge of the Nuns' Order, abbot of Phong Hanh Pagoda.

Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Department of Home Affairs, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial People's Committee Office and Hai Duong City.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions and support of dignitaries, monks, nuns, followers and Buddhists in the past time.

Congratulating the 2025 Buddha's Birthday, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions and companionship of dignitaries, monks, nuns, followers and Buddhists in the province who, together with Party committees, authorities and Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, have well performed the socio -economic development tasks of the province and each locality.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee briefly informed the monks, dignitaries and Buddhists about some of the socio-economic results and achievements of Hai Duong in 2024 and the first quarter of 2025; the revolution of streamlining and rearranging the apparatus at all levels in the past time.
