The Prime Minister approved the list of members of the Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development.
According to the Decision, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc is Head of the Steering Committee.
Minister and Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son as Permanent Deputy Head; Mr. Nguyen Canh Viet and Mr. Bui Hong Minh as full-time Deputy Heads.
Members of the Steering Committee include: Mr. Vo Thanh Hung, Deputy Chief of the Party Central Office; Ms. Mai Thi Thu Van, Deputy Head of the Government Office; Mr. Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Mr. Cao Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Finance; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu, Deputy Minister of Justice; Mr. Vu Chien Thang, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Hong Son, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee; Mr. Phan Van Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Truong Viet Dung, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; Mr. Ha Minh Manh (full-time member); Ms. Le Thanh Van, Director of the Department of Enterprise Innovation of the Government Office (Member - Secretary of the Steering Committee).
This Decision takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation; replaces Decision No. 1507/QD-TTg dated December 4, 2024 of the Prime Minister approving the List of members of the Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development.
* The Steering Committee for Enterprise Innovation and Development is an inter-sectoral coordination organization with the function of researching, consulting, recommending, and assisting the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating the resolution of important, inter-sectoral issues on the arrangement, innovation, and improvement of the operational efficiency of state-owned enterprises; the development of enterprises in other economic sectors; and the conversion of public service units into enterprises.
The Steering Committee is responsible for assisting the Prime Minister in orienting strategies and solutions to reorganize, innovate and improve the operational efficiency of state-owned enterprises; developing enterprises of other economic sectors; and converting public service units into enterprises.
The Steering Committee assists the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities, and relevant agencies and organizations to resolve problems and shortcomings in policies and mechanisms, and in the organization of implementation in the arrangement, innovation and improvement of the operational efficiency of state-owned enterprises; the development of enterprises of other economic sectors; the transformation of public service units into enterprises. Research and propose solutions to difficulties and obstacles in the production and business activities of enterprises, contributing to improving the operational efficiency of enterprises and performing other tasks assigned by the Prime Minister.
