Groundbreaking ceremony of Social Housing Project on 3.5ha land in Trang Bom commune

(DN) - On September 27, in Trang Bom commune, the joint venture of investors including Khang Nam Real Estate and Environmental Construction Group Joint Stock Company and Viet Quang Construction Joint Stock Company No. 1 held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Social Housing Project on a 3.5-hectare plot of land in Trang Bom commune. Attending the ceremony were Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai province Nguyen Tuan Anh and local and business leaders.

The project is located in the Bau Xeo Industrial Park Service Center, Trang Bom Commune, Dong Nai Province (existing). According to the design, the project includes apartment blocks with a construction height of 5-6 floors.

Upon completion, the project is expected to provide approximately 900-950 apartments with 77,000 ^m2 of construction floor space; providing accommodation for approximately 3,500 people. The project's objective is to provide affordable accommodation for local residents and workers in nearby industrial parks, contributing to the local social security mission.

The project has a total investment capital of more than 733 billion VND and strives to complete construction within 24 months. Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, General Director of Khang Nam Real Estate and Environmental Construction Group Joint Stock Company, representative of the joint venture investor, affirmed: The enterprise will strictly comply with the provisions of the law on investment, construction and coordinate with local authorities to complete the project in the best way.

Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Tuan Anh commented: This is one of the projects assigned by the province to the investor to implement in the spirit of piloting a number of mechanisms and policies for social housing development. The groundbreaking ceremony of the project is also an activity in a series of events to welcome the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 and to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The project, when completed, will meet the social housing needs of local residents and contribute to urban beautification, so the province requests investors and construction units to ensure safety and on schedule. The locality will continue to accompany and create favorable conditions for the project to be implemented smoothly and quickly; at the same time, promote administrative procedure reform and provide legal support for other projects in the area.
