In the period of 2021 - 2025, the local industry and trade sector has coordinated to develop projects to apply advanced machinery and equipment to production at rural industrial establishments in the province. Thereby , the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Provincial People's Committee approved funding support and promoted the implementation of 211 projects with a total budget of 47.4 billion VND. Of which, 16 national industrial promotion projects with a total support budget of 10.1 billion VND, 195 local industrial promotion projects with a total support budget of 37.3 billion VND.

Particularly in the Blue Sea Lam Dong area, the industrial promotion funding at all levels supported for implementation during this period is 10,331 million VND (national industrial promotion is 5,800 million VND, local industrial promotion is 4,531 million VND). From the support funding, the national industrial promotion program has implemented a number of projects to apply advanced machinery and equipment, scientific and technical advances in industrial and handicraft production. Similarly, the local industrial promotion program also aims to support projects to apply advanced machinery and equipment, scientific and technical advances in industrial and handicraft production in the area.

In order to bring practical efficiency to businesses in improving productivity and product quality, the support projects mainly focus on the advantageous manufacturing and processing industries of the locality. Specifically, the industries of unburnt brick production, fish sauce processing, food, agriculture - forestry - fisheries, bird's nest, tomato sauce, chili sauce... Up to now, there have been a number of cases that have received partial support for industrial promotion funds to invest in renovating machinery and equipment such as Hoa Sen Phan Thiet business household specializing in producing and processing tomato sauce, chili sauce, soy sauce. As for Kim Ngu Fish Sauce Production - Trading Company Limited, Phan Thiet - Mui Ne Fish Sauce Processing and Export Joint Stock Company (specializing in fish sauce processing) have been supported to gradually complete the system of advanced machinery and equipment in the product production process.

According to Lam Dong Department of Industry and Trade, the support activities for the application of advanced machinery and equipment in industrial production in recent times have contributed to spreading the effectiveness of the program. At the same time, it has created conditions for businesses to develop, expand production as well as boldly invest in machinery, equipment, technology and gradually invest in automating production processes. Thereby, it not only helps to improve productivity and product quality but also increases profits for businesses to actively contribute to the local budget and stabilize income for workers.

In fact, after applying advanced machinery and equipment to production, it has helped businesses gradually produce semi-automatically and switch to industrial production. Thanks to that, products have also been gradually improved. It is noteworthy that the design and quality of products of businesses participating in the projects have been improved compared to previous manual production, while ensuring food safety and hygiene requirements. In addition, many products participating in the vote have been recognized as typical rural industrial products at all levels, achieving OCOP products and increasing competitiveness in the market...

Based on the initial results, the program to support businesses in improving productivity and product quality will be focused on by the local industry and trade sector in the period of 2026 - 2030. In the coming time, the sector will continue to conduct a survey of the needs of rural industrial establishments in the whole Lam Dong province, develop industrial promotion projects at all levels (national and local)... Through that, deploy practical support activities to create typical rural industrial products and goods that win awards at the provincial, regional and national levels.
