Promote investment in industrial cluster infrastructure according to provincial planning

(Baohatinh.vn) - Ha Tinh aims to have 45 industrial clusters (ICs) with a total area of ​​1,981.84 hectares by 2030, and after 2030, it will expand to 2,241.84 hectares.

To implement the Provincial Planning on Industrial Park Development, most recently, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province issued a decision to establish Lam Hop Industrial Park with an area of ​​over 30 hectares, in Ky Lac commune. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee also issued a decision approving the investment policy, approving the investor of the Lam Hop Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Project, which is Nhon Tan Warehouse Investment and Development Company Limited (located in the former Binh Dinh province, now Gia Lai province).

Mr. Nguyen Anh Ngoc - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Lac commune said: "The locality is very excited to receive the province's attention, planning and calling for investors to invest in industrial park infrastructure in the area. This is a multi-industry industrial park, focusing on processing agricultural and forestry products, construction materials, supporting the following industries: electricity, steel, logistics... which are very suitable for the development planning as well as the advantages of the locality. We will create favorable conditions for investors to implement the project on schedule, contributing to the locality's promotion of new rural construction".

The project's objective is to synchronously construct the Lam Hop Industrial Park's technical infrastructure according to the approved plan; to operate and exploit the infrastructure and services of the Industrial Park. The total investment capital of the project is about 284 billion VND; the project's operating period is 50 years from the date of the decision on land allocation and lease. The entire project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation after 39 months from the date of the decision on investment policy approval.

According to the Provincial Planning orientation for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, by 2030, Ha Tinh plans 45 industrial parks with a total area of ​​1,981.84 hectares and after 2030 expands to more than 2,240 hectares. Realizing the planning, in recent times, Ha Tinh has synchronously deployed solutions to attract more investors in industrial park infrastructure to the area.

In addition to the Lam Hop Industrial Park project that has just been approved for investment, currently, the whole province has 10 industrial parks that investors are researching and submitting applications for investment in technical infrastructure, including: Bac Cam Xuyen 2 Industrial Park (Cam Binh commune); Tan Lam Huong Industrial Park (Ha Huy Tap ward); Cong Khanh 3 Industrial Park (Nam Hong Linh ward); Dong Khang Industrial Park (Ky Anh commune); Ky Tan Industrial Park (Ky Hoa commune); Huong Long Industrial Park (Huong Khe commune); Lac Thien Industrial Park (Duc Thinh commune); Xuan My Industrial Park (Tien Dien commune); Quang Diem Industrial Park (Son Giang commune); An Thinh Industrial Park (Loc Ha commune). Of which, 2 industrial parks have been appraised by the Department of Industry and Trade and submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration of establishment (including Cong Khanh 3 Industrial Park and Dong Khang Industrial Park); 3 industrial parks are being compiled by the Department of Industry and Trade to submit to the Council for evaluation and scoring to select investors (including: Xuan My Industrial Park, Lac Thien Industrial Park and Quang Diem Industrial Park).

Up to now, the Industrial Park has attracted 12 investors to production with an occupancy rate of 85%. Currently, Bac Cam Xuyen 2 Industrial Park has an investor submitting an application to become an investor. The Commune People's Committee will accompany and coordinate with investors so that the Industrial Park project can be implemented soon."

Mr. Ton Quang Ngoc - Chairman of Nam Hong Linh Ward People's Committee said: "In the ward, there are currently 4 planned industrial parks, of which Nam Hong Industrial Park and Cong Khanh 2 Industrial Park have reached 100% occupancy rate, Cong Khanh I Industrial Park has just completed technical infrastructure by the investor, IDI Investment Joint Stock Company, and 4 enterprises have leased land to implement the project. Currently, Cong Khanh 3 Industrial Park also has registered investors and the locality is closely coordinating with investors to complete the documents and soon implement the infrastructure investment project".

Ha Tinh has currently planned and invested in the construction of 21 industrial parks, of which 19 have come into operation. The average occupancy rate of industrial parks in the area is over 58%. Many industrial parks have high occupancy rates such as: Nam Hong industrial park in Nam Hong Linh ward reaching 100%; Thach Kim industrial park in Loc Ha commune reaching 98%; Bac Cam Xuyen industrial park in Cam Binh commune reaching 85%; Thai Yen industrial park in Duc Thinh commune reaching 79%...

Mr. Le Xuan Tu - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh said: "To implement the provincial planning on developing industrial parks, the Department has integrated existing industrial parks into the provincial planning and put the industrial park planning on the digital map, built an IOC operating data center, created a shared database for management and called for investment attraction. Continue to promote industrial park development policies in the whole province, accompany infrastructure investors, reform administrative procedures, guide localities as well as infrastructure investment enterprises to implement procedures for establishing industrial parks in the fastest way".
