Phu Luong 'accelerates' with a series of key projects

In Phu Luong commune, there are currently many important projects being implemented, notably Yen Lac Industrial Cluster, Aloha Mall Supermarket and Thanh Nam 1 Residential Area... Immediately after stabilizing the organizational structure, the commune government proactively stepped in, accompanying businesses to remove difficulties and support investors to speed up the progress of projects.

Yen Lac Industrial Park has a scale of 25.6 hectares, located next to the Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi expressway and is being accelerated; currently more than 95% of the area has been cleared.

Urgent construction

At the end of September, at the Yen Lac Industrial Park construction site, we witnessed the urgent construction atmosphere with hundreds of workers and machines operating continuously.

Mr. Vu Van Hau, Deputy General Director of Thang Long Thai Nguyen Urban Development and Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, and Director of Yen Lac Industrial Park Project, shared: Immediately after completing legal procedures, from July 1, 2025, we mobilized maximum human resources, put more than 100 equipment and machines into operation. The Company's goal is to shorten the progress by nearly a year compared to the plan, putting the Industrial Park into operation from the fourth quarter of 2026 instead of the third quarter of 2027.

Yen Lac Industrial Park has a scale of 25.6 hectares, located close to the Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi expressway. Its business lines are to attract enterprises processing wood, agricultural products, forestry products, textiles, footwear, supporting industries, and other small-scale industries in accordance with local planning.

According to Mr. Vu Van Hau, during the implementation of the Project, the Company has always received the attention and close direction of the provincial leaders, the accompaniment of departments and branches and the active support of the local government. Up to now, the Project has completed the site clearance of more than 95% of the total area, while some households have not yet received compensation for site clearance, the Company is coordinating with the local government to focus on site clearance of the remaining area.

Thanh Nam 1 Residential Area Project is being accelerated.

Similarly, the 2.4-hectare Aloha Mall Phu Luong Supermarket Project, invested by Thai Hung Company Limited, is also speeding up its construction progress. After completing the foundation, the project is entering the stage of building the supermarket walls.

Mr. Duong The Hung, Director of Thai Hung Company Limited - Thai Nguyen Branch, said: With the attention and support of the locality, the site clearance work was carried out very quickly. The project started leveling and construction from June 2025, with the plan to complete in the first quarter of 2026, but we are trying to shorten the time to put it into operation from the fourth quarter of 2025.

Effort and expectation

In parallel with the above two projects, Thanh Nam 1 Residential Area and a number of other projects in Phu Luong commune are also being accelerated. According to the leaders of Phu Luong commune, in July and August 2025, the commune organized two direct dialogues with businesses at the commune People's Committee headquarters to listen to feedback, recommendations and resolve difficulties. At the same time, the commune leaders also directly went to each construction site to inspect, direct and urge to accelerate the progress of the projects.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Vice Chairman of Phu Luong Commune People's Committee, affirmed: We always pay attention to promptly resolving difficulties for businesses, especially paying attention to site clearance. The commune government mobilized departments, branches, and organizations to coordinate and persuade each household to agree to site clearance to implement the project ahead of schedule.

It can be seen that the drastic intervention of the government, together with the efforts of investors and contractors, has been creating positive changes. All projects aim to shorten the time and put the works into operation soon. This is a testament to Phu Luong's spirit of cooperation, openness and determination to develop.

A good sign is that although the construction is still underway, many businesses have come to survey and some investors have signed contracts in principle, committing to start building the factory as soon as the Yen Lac Industrial Park infrastructure is completed.

In the near future, when Yen Lac Industrial Park completes its infrastructure and comes into operation, along with the appearance of Aloha Mall Supermarket and new residential areas, Phu Luong will enter a breakthrough phase of urban, industrial, commercial and service development. This transformation will change the face of the locality, open up many job opportunities, increase income for people, and at the same time promote Phu Luong to become a bright spot in the province's socio -economic landscape.
