Dassault Systemes Group has recently cooperated with the Vietnam National Innovation Center (NIC) to organize the Business Leadership Forum. With a focus on promoting the semiconductor ecosystem in Vietnam, the event brought together 70 senior executives from the semiconductor, high-tech, government and academia sectors to promote the goal of developing the national semiconductor industry through digital innovation, human resource development and strategic cooperation.
Discussions focused on developing the semiconductor ecosystem through AI-based innovation, addressing industry challenges, and applying virtual twin technology.
Other key topics include data-driven manufacturing and technology-to-factory co-optimization (FTCO), along with future-ready workforce development strategies, regional insights and best practices to enhance Vietnam’s global competitiveness.
The event opened with a keynote speech by Dr. Vo Xuan Hoai, Deputy Director of the National Innovation Center, with inspiring sharing about Vietnam's activities in the process of realizing the orientations of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo , clearly stating the vision: creating breakthroughs in science, technology and innovation, accelerating the national digital transformation process as well as Decision No. 1131/QD-TTg dated June 12, 2025 of the Prime Minister, which identified 11 strategic technology groups and 35 strategic technology product groups as national development priorities. Together with Ms. Marie Keller, Acting Representative, French Embassy in Vietnam, in which she emphasized France's commitment to promoting innovation and technological cooperation with Vietnam.
“We are honored to partner with NIC to integrate our Virtual Twin solutions, industry best practices and global expertise to support Vietnam’s semiconductor industry aspirations,” said Samson Khaou, Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific, Dassault Systèmes. “Together with NIC, Dassault Systèmes is committed to fostering the innovation ecosystem and developing digital human resources for Vietnam.”
“Improving Vietnam’s digital capabilities is at the heart of our mission,” said Dr. Vo Xuan Hoai, Deputy Director of the National Innovation Center. “This forum fosters important connections and resources to advance the country’s semiconductor development aspirations and strengthen Vietnam’s position on the international stage.”
This forum follows the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Dassault Systèmes and the National Innovation Center in 2024 to promote digital transformation and strengthen the innovation ecosystem in Vietnam. This partnership affirms Vietnam’s commitment to training 50,000 semiconductor engineers by 2030, fostering an innovative, future-ready workforce, contributing to maintaining the country’s high-tech growth momentum.
