As an influential educator, receiving many awards for university teaching in Australia, Associate Professor Amanda White, University of Technology Sydney, shared impressively about the strategic integration of Generative AI (Gen AI) into university education .

Associate Professor Amanda White, University of Technology Sydney (Australia), shares her experience in strategically applying Gen AI to higher education.
According to Associate Professor White, Gen AI is a powerful tool, like a smart watch. Gen AI should be used strategically, not abused. Educators should guide students to use AI as a support tool instead of depending on it.
In addition, Ms. White also mentioned common concerns and misunderstandings surrounding Gen AI. From concerns that AI-generated products are considered cheating to the phenomenon of "AI slop" (AI garbage) in exercises and analysis.
In addition to Chat GPT, the "Future of Education" research group of RMIT University Vietnam introduced other technologies such as: inference models, deepfake detection tools and VR integration.
At the workshop, Ms. Melanie Casul (in charge of health and psychological care) and Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Linh (in charge of learning design) cited the case of a visually impaired student studying at the school.
According to Ms. Linh, having a co-designed learning plan, combining humans and digital tools, can help narrow the gap that the digital world brings, making it easier for visually impaired students to learn.

In addition, the workshop also introduced many connected approaches, from learning design, accessibility to emerging technology, and collaboration with businesses.
Generative AI is a type of artificial intelligence that can generate a lot of data such as images, videos , audio, text and 3D models.
Gen AI does this by learning patterns from existing data and then using that knowledge to create unique new results. It is capable of generating complex and highly realistic content that mimics human creativity.
