"Supporting" 2 million business households to eliminate lump-sum tax

On October 23, MISA Joint Stock Company announced the program "Giving free software to 2 million business households to eliminate lump-sum tax according to Resolution 68-NQ/TW".

With this program, MISA will give away 3 months of free use of MISA eShop software, along with 1 year of digital signature use and 5,000 electronic invoices.

This “6-in-1” toolkit supports the entire management process of business households — from sales, invoicing, digital signature, accounting, tax declaration to direct connection with the Mtax electronic tax system, helping taxpayers declare – sign – pay on a single platform.

The program is considered a practical solution, helping business households quickly become familiar with transparent and modern tax management methods and reduce compliance costs.

According to Deputy Director of the Tax Department Mai Son, the conversion from lump-sum tax to declaration is an important step in the process of modernizing the tax system, contributing to building a fair and transparent business environment, while creating conditions for the private economic sector to develop.

To date, 98% of business households have declared and paid taxes electronically, more than 18,500 households have switched to tax declaration and 133,000 households have registered to use electronic invoices from cash registers. These figures show the ability of businesses to quickly adapt to a period of great change.

The Tax sector has synchronously deployed many solutions such as researching and amending policies; promoting propaganda, dialogue, and practical guidance; simplifying accounting regimes and applying easy-to-use technology.

Currently, the tax authority is completing the legal framework in three key areas: Amending the Law on Tax Administration and related documents, developing separate management policies for business households, and developing a simple accounting regime associated with the application of digital technology - towards a modern and transparent tax system. On that policy foundation, technology enterprises play an important role in realizing the policy.
