Continue to complete the volume of rural electrification projects

According to the report of the Department of Industry and Trade, the total investment of the entire project is 613 billion VND, implemented in 307 villages of 82 communes in 9 mountainous districts including Tay Giang, Nam Giang, Dong Giang, Phuoc Son, Nam Tra My, Bac Tra My, Hiep Duc, Tien Phuoc, Nong Son. The project volume implemented in the first phase is 184 billion VND.

In this second phase, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board (a unit authorized by the Provincial People's Committee) will continue to hand over to Quang Nam Electricity Company assets worth about 46.2 billion VND, including 13.1km of medium voltage lines, 31km of low voltage lines, 17 transformer stations and 356 meters and post-meter systems. The two sides have carried out 6/9 steps of handover according to regulations.

At the meeting, the project appraisal council presented the remaining difficulties and problems in the handover process to resolve and reach a consensus on the appraisal results, submitting them to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh requested the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and Quang Nam Electricity Company to continue implementing and completing steps to hand over and finalize the project.

At the same time, the sectors and localities coordinate to implement land handover procedures to implement the project in accordance with regulations. The Department of Industry and Trade continues to implement the project's unimplemented volume of VND 382.7 billion in 2025 - the last year of the project's extension period.
