Continue to process information from the message reflecting to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi

According to the report, previously, the press agency published the information "Ho Chi Minh City residents sent messages to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi" and along with the messages sent by residents to the Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, reflecting the long-standing frustrations of residents at the two above-mentioned apartment buildings. Specifically, for Tan Hong Ngoc Apartment, residents reported the following: the management board (MB) had "rampant" behavior, arbitrarily cutting elevator cards of many apartments without consulting residents, causing frustration in the community. This issue has been reported many times by residents to local authorities but has not been completely resolved.

Regarding Vien Ngoc Phuong Nam Apartment, residents reported that since the apartment building began operating in 2016, it has not yet been accepted for completion, and the Management Board has not been established; the investor has shown signs of abuse of power, while the local government is "powerless", causing them to "cry for help for 9 years" without a thorough solution.

On June 14, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City issued a document directing the Department of Construction, assigning the People's Committee of the old Tan Phu district to continue to inspect, monitor, and handle administrative violations (if any) regarding the management and operation of Tan Hong Ngoc apartment building and report the results to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City (through the Department of Construction). Regarding Vien Ngoc Phuong Nam Apartment, the Department of Construction assigned the People's Committee of the old District 8 to inspect, monitor, and resolve residents' petitions related to the management and use of apartment buildings according to its authority and consider and handle administrative violations (if any); report the results to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City....

Currently, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has not received a report on the results of handling the feedback from the People's Committee of Phu Thanh Ward (the People's Committee of the old Tan Phu District) and the People's Committee of Chanh Hung (the People's Committee of the old District 8).

Therefore, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City assigned the People's Committee of Phu Thanh Ward to continue to inspect, monitor, and thoroughly handle the recommendations and feedback of residents related to the management and use of Tan Hong Ngoc apartment building and report the implementation results before July 15.

Regarding Vien Ngoc Phuong Nam Apartment, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Chanh Hung Ward to continue to inspect, monitor, and thoroughly handle the recommendations and feedback of residents related to the management and use of apartment buildings according to their authority; urgently give opinions on the adjustment of the conformity of the violating area compared to the approved 1/500 scale planning and 1/2000 scale planning to advise on handling according to regulations. The implementation time is before July 15.
