On the morning of August 20, delivering a speech at the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025), Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that it is necessary to continue promoting the fine and glorious traditions of the Government through the periods to overcome all difficulties and challenges, constantly renew thinking, act decisively, courageously, confidently, self-reliantly, and strive with the whole country to successfully implement the two 100-year strategic goals set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Hanoi puts up signs naming Le Gian and Bach Thanh Phong streets

On the morning of August 20, the People's Committee of Dai Mo Ward (Hanoi) held a ceremony to announce the decision and put up nameplates for Le Gian and Bach Thanh Phong streets. The naming of the two new streets Le Gian and Bach Thanh Phong was carried out in accordance with Resolution No. 26/2025/NQ-HDND dated July 10, 2025 of the Hanoi People's Council on naming, renaming and adjusting the length of some roads, streets and public works in Hanoi in 2025; Decision No. 3852/QD-UBND dated July 20, 2025 of the Hanoi People's Committee on the same content.

Relevant agencies promote a sense of responsibility in preparing for the Anniversary.

On the afternoon of August 20, in Hanoi, a working delegation led by Politburo member and Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu inspected preparations for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ba Dinh Square.

At the inspection session, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu stated that there are more than 10 days left until the 80th National Day celebration on September 2. Based on complete and detailed plans, relevant agencies must continue to uphold their sense of responsibility in performing assigned tasks.
