Honoring talented young people of EOV 2024 on their journey to conquer languages

Dr. Ngo Quang Xuan - Head of the EOV Competition Steering Committee delivered a welcome speech and opened the EOV 2024 National Finals.

Besides the top competitions, EOV 2024 is also a solid bridge between young talents and the knowledge gate of Foreign Trade University (FTU) - where dreams of reaching international level are nurtured.

EOV is not just a competition, but also a journey of self -discovery , overcoming limits and affirming the bravery of each contestant. Through challenging rounds, the young people demonstrated their deep understanding of language, culture and social knowledge, while also revealing their ability to think critically, be creative and work in groups.

With a long tradition and prestige in the field of foreign language training, Foreign Trade University has always been the dream destination of many generations of students. The school not only provides solid professional knowledge but also equips students with the necessary soft skills to succeed in the international working environment.

In 2024, as a co-organizer and host of the EOV 2024 National Finals, Foreign Trade University promises to be a place to nurture and develop talented EOV contestants after the competition - young people with dreams of going international.

With the participation and support of Foreign Trade University and other prestigious international educational units and organizations such as: New Zealand Education Agency (ENZ), University of Cincinnati (USA), Federation University (Australia)... This contributes to creating open conditions to help young people have the opportunity to access, exchange and connect with advanced international educational environments through the EOV competition.

After efforts and determination, 24 contestants from 6 teams have excellently entered the EOV National Finals 2024. After 4 challenging and thrilling rounds, the EOV Champion title of season 2024 belonged to team 2 - The dreams with contestants: Nguyen Dong Nhu Ngoc from Thoai Ngoc Hau High School for the Gifted; Ngo Nha Nam from Tran Phu Secondary School; Huynh Nguyen Hai Dang from Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School and Nguyen Khai Hoa from Nguyen Du Primary School.

The EOV 2024 Final Round was successfully held, concluding the EOV 2024 journey with many meaningful experiences for each contestant participating in the competition. With the cooperation and companionship of Foreign Trade University and prestigious international educational units and organizations in the world , EOV promises to continue to be a useful, practical and meaningful English playground for young people with a passion for English in Vietnam.
