CP Vietnam General Director: "Accompanying the Government towards the Net Zero goal"

On October 11, the Vietnam Youth Union of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (CP Vietnam Youth Union) held the 3rd Congress of CP Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024 - 2029. Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu, Member of the Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Youth Union's Solidarity Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union; Mr. Pawalit Ua-amornwanit - General Director of CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company and 100 delegates representing more than 26,000 CP Vietnam youths attended the congress.

The 3rd Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of CP Corporation, term 2024 - 2029 with the slogan "Vietnam CP Youth - Solidarity - Volunteering - Creativity - Development", is a great festival for all CP youth. The Congress listened to the Summary report of the Union's work and youth movement at CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (CPV) term II, term 2019 - 2024, and set out the direction and tasks of the Union's work and youth movement term III, term 2024 - 2029.

Speaking at the Congress, CP Vietnam General Director, Mr. Pawalit Ua - Amornwanit said: “At this 3rd Congress for the 2024 - 2029 term, I pledge that the Company will continue to accompany and support human resources and resources so that the Association can implement the proposed plans. In particular, during this term, we will promote activities to combat food waste, reduce plastic waste, plant trees, and gradually green all production and business activities, accompanying the Vietnamese Government towards the Net Zero goal by 2050. In terms of material resources, the Company pledges to support 20 billion VND so that the CP Vietnam Youth Union can implement these projects in the next 5 years.”

Mr. Le Hoang Chuong, Director of Communications and Recruitment, was elected as the Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of the Joint Stock Company for the third term, term 2024 - 2029.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu assessed, “During the 2019 - 2024 term, with the attention and facilitation of the Company's Board of Directors, the Association's work and youth movement achieved important results, the Association's activities became increasingly diverse, the content gradually became closer to the needs of the youth and the company's production and business situation. The movement "Vietnamese CP Youth Join Hands to Pay Gratitude to the Vietnamese Fatherland" was widely deployed in branches and factories across the country, attracting and spreading in the lives of young people, encouraging, urging and calling on a large number of young people to show patriotism through concrete actions." In particular, during the past term, the Vietnam Youth Union of the Company has actively and effectively implemented volunteer activities, leaving its mark with a series of practical projects and tasks aimed at the community, contributing to ensuring social security, notably a series of activities participating in supporting the prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic, such as: the project "Food from the heart"; the project "Humane Mask" providing more than 20 million masks for free in a timely manner to people in provinces with outbreaks and implementing the project "Hospital at home"...

The Vietnamese Government leadership presented a symbolic plaque of 20 billion VND to accompany the activities of the youth movement and the Association's work in the new term.

With the results achieved, in the past 5 years, the Association's work and youth movement of the Company have always been highly appreciated and is the leading unit among the affiliated units. The Congress has consulted and elected 35 members to the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of the Joint Stock Company, term III, 2024 - 2029. Mr. Le Hoang Chuong, Director in charge of Communications and Recruitment, was elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of the Joint Stock Company.
