Summary of the Farmers Support Program for the period 2021 - 2023

On the afternoon of January 23, in Phu Loc commune (Nho Quan district), the Provincial Farmers' Association held a conference to summarize the Farmers Support Program, period 2021-2023.

In 2021, the Farmers Support Program, jointly organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Provincial Farmers' Association and the Provincial Youth Union, with sponsorship from GreenFeed Vietnam Joint Stock Company, supported 40 farming households in Ky Phu and Phu Loc communes, Nho Quan district. Each household received an interest-free loan of VND 20 million and was supported with animal feed worth VND 3 million.

In addition, the units also organize many other support activities such as: livestock consulting, technical support, and scholarships for children of households participating in the program.

To date, 100% of households participating in the program have used capital effectively and repaid on time; 6 households have escaped poverty and 8 households have escaped near-poverty.

Also in the program, the Provincial Farmers' Association coordinated with Nho Quan District Social Insurance to organize propaganda and mobilize farmer members to participate in social insurance and voluntary health insurance; give social insurance books and gifts to households participating in the Farmers' Support Program for the period 2021-2023.
