Ha Tinh City won the overall excellent award at the Provincial Elderly Singing Festival

The Ha Tinh Province Elderly Singing Festival has contributed to improving the spiritual life of the elderly; setting a good example for children and grandchildren in the spirit of "The older the age, the higher the ambition".

On the evening of September 17, the Ha Tinh Association of the Elderly coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the opening, closing and awarding ceremony of the 2023 Provincial Elderly Singing Festival.

Attending the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony were Chairman of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly Nguyen Thanh Binh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Tran Nhat Tan, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Tran Dinh Gia, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Participating in the 2023 Provincial Senior Singing Festival are 13 troupes with more than 250 actors and members from districts, cities and towns across the province. The troupes brought 38 performances to the festival.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Tran Xuan Luong summarized and closed the festival.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the groups brought to the festival well-invested, elaborately staged, colorful performances; giving the audience many emotions and good impressions; expressing the affection and passion of the elderly for music .

The performance "Welcome to the Communist Party of Vietnam" was performed by the Duc Tho District Elderly Association.

The festival featured 13 performances of Vi and Giam folk songs. These performances contributed to preserving and promoting the spiritual values ​​of Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk songs.

Cam Xuyen district troupe performed the piece "People returning to their hometown".

The festival has contributed to improving the spiritual life of the elderly; setting a good example for children and grandchildren in the spirit of "The older the age, the higher the ambition"; arousing and spreading the cultural and artistic movement in society, contributing to preserving and promoting national cultural values.

This is also an opportunity to promote and raise social awareness about the position and role of the elderly and the social responsibility to care for the spiritual life of the elderly.

Ha Tinh city delegation with the folk song suite of Nghe Tinh "The elderly of Hong Lam land obey Uncle Ho's teachings".

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the excellent prize to the Ha Tinh city delegation, the first prize to the Cam Xuyen district delegation and 3 second prizes, 4 third prizes, 4 consolation prizes to the delegations participating in the festival.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded A, B, and C prizes for outstanding performances; a collective prize for the group with the highest average age and a prize for the elderly person with the best voice.

Chairman of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly Nguyen Thanh Binh and Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung presented the excellent award to the entire delegation to Ha Tinh city.
