Ho Chi Minh City: 12 non-public schools have been assigned enrollment quotas for grade 10.

After reviewing and checking the corrections according to the requirements, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has granted enrollment quotas for grade 10 to 12 non-public schools for the 2025-2026 school year.

On August 2, according to an official from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, after reviewing and checking the corrections according to regulations, the department granted enrollment quotas for grade 10 to a number of non-public schools for the 2025-2025 school year.

This official said that in the list of 16 non-public schools as reported by Thanh Nien , based on the minutes of the meeting with each non-public school on reviewing the student population for the 2025-2026 school year and the following years of high schools, schools with many levels (non-public schools), the Department of Education and Training requested to make a report to correct the contents, along with supporting documents and has decided to issue the enrollment quota for grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year.

Specifically, non-public schools that have been granted enrollment quotas for grade 10 include: Western Australia High School, Dao Duy Tu High School, Ly Thai To, Viet Au, Lac Hong, Hoa Binh, Thanh Nhan (assigned quotas for campus 1 and campus 3), Dang Khoa, Thai Binh , Saigon-Gia Dinh, Tran Nhan Tong, Duc Tri.

The remaining 4 schools that have not been assigned targets in this period are Hoa Sen High School, Dao Duy Anh High School, and Chien Thang High School because they have not completed the regulations on fire prevention and fighting; Bac Ai High School is currently in a state where the principal is on leave and cannot be contacted to complete the required content.

In addition, the department is also continuing to review the enrollment of non-public schools to meet the requirements of a number of other schools.

Previously, on June 2, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the enrollment quota for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year of non-public high schools.

Accordingly, depending on the conditions of facilities, teaching staff..., the Department of Education and Training allocates the enrollment quota for grade 10 to 64 non-public schools for the 2025-2026 school year. Among them, the non-public schools with the largest enrollment quota for grade 10 are Tran Cao Van, Nam Viet, Ngo Thoi Nhiem, Le Thanh Tong, Nguyen Khuyen...

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City stipulates that private schools can only be organized and operate at facilities (locations) that have been granted permission to operate education by the Department. At the same time, they cannot enroll more students than their quota, and their application documents must comply with regulations, ensuring adequate facilities and implementation of educational programs.
