Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City takes the floor score of 18 for high school graduation exam scores

Accordingly, the Admissions Council of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City announced the following minimum scores:

Comprehensive admission method (Method 2)

+ For candidates graduating in 2024: Candidates have an average score of 6.5 or higher in semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1 and semester 2 of grade 12;

+ For candidates graduating in 2025: The study results of semester 2, grade 11 and semester 1, semester 2, grade 12 must be good or higher.

- Admission score is the converted score according to the subject combination of 3 semesters plus the converted score according to other criteria (if any) and the total converted priority score (if any). Priority score for subjects and regions is converted according to a 150-point scale.

Converted score according to other criteria = Converted score of international English certificate + Converted score of excellent student selection exam + Converted score of specialized/gifted school + Converted score of excellent student classification.

Input quality assurance threshold: 75 (150-point scale) applies to all training majors/programs that are selected based on this method.

Admission method based on the results of the 2025 V-SAT computer-based university entrance exam (Method 3):

The minimum score (minimum score to receive an application) is 225 points (450-point scale) including priority admission points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and component scores of subjects in the combination >= 15 points, applicable to all majors/programs using the method of considering the results of the V-SAT computer-based university entrance exam in 2025 (for English Language majors, English subject multiplied by 2 converts to a 450-point scale).

The threshold score to ensure input quality: 225 (450-point scale) applies to all training majors/programs that are admitted based on this method.

Method of considering high school graduation exam scores in 2025 (Method 4):

The minimum score (minimum score for admission) is 18 points (30-point scale) including priority admission points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, applied to all majors/programs using the method of considering high school graduation exam results in 2025 (for the English Language major, special program and standard regular program, English subject is multiplied by a coefficient of 2 and converted to a 30-point scale).

At the same time, candidates must not have any subject in the admission group with a score of 1 or lower.

As for the International Bachelor's Program with a partner-granted degree, the admission method is: reviewing transcripts and interviews, not applying the method of considering high school graduation exam results in 2025.

Law, Economic Law, Economic Law (partial English).

- Apply the same entrance threshold as for the majors/programs in the admission methods.

- The minimum total admission score is 18 points (calculated on a 30-point scale, for other methods it is converted to a 30-point scale).

- Admission combinations with Math and Literature, or Math or Literature must achieve a minimum score of 6 points or higher (on a 10-point scale, for other methods, math and literature scores are converted to the corresponding 10-point scale).

This year, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City enrolls 4,590 students.

In addition to the above 3 admission methods, the school has 2 other methods, including: Direct admission and priority admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (method 1); Admission method based on high school transcripts and interviews (method 5), applied to international regular university programs with degrees granted by partners), high school graduates or equivalent.
