Ho Chi Minh City: Traffic police dispatch cars to help people safely cross the flooded Quan bridge

Early morning on October 23, prolonged heavy rain caused the DT749A road section through Quan bridge area (Long Nguyen ward, Ho Chi Minh City) to be deeply flooded, posing a potential safety risk to people and vehicles.

As soon as the flooding was detected, the National Highway 13 Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) deployed forces to the scene. Under the command of Major Nguyen Van Hung, Deputy Station Chief, the Traffic Police force quickly organized traffic regulation and guided people to move safely.

Due to the rising water level, many motorbikes cannot move through the Quan bridge area. Traffic police have used specialized cars to help people and vehicles pass through the flooded area, ensuring safety and limiting traffic jams and possible accidents.
