Ho Chi Minh City receives an additional 6.4 billion VND to support people in flood-affected areas

On October 23, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee organized to receive support for people to overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

Comrade Truong Thi Bich Hanh received and presented a letter of thanks to the unit supporting people affected by storms and floods.

At the reception, 32 units, businesses, organizations and individuals registered to support with a total amount of money and goods of more than 6.4 billion VND.

Speaking at the reception, comrade Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City expressed her deep gratitude to all the kindness and noble gestures of organizations, units and businesses that participated in contributing to support people in flood-affected areas.

This contribution not only demonstrates compassion, compatriotism, and national love, but also affirms the tradition of "HCMC for the whole country, with the whole country", always being a pioneer, ready to share difficulties with people in areas affected by natural disasters and floods.

Comrade Truong Thi Bich Hanh also informed that immediately after launching the support campaign, the city quickly transferred funds and emergency relief goods to the heavily affected provinces. Along with that, it organized working groups to directly visit, encourage and support people to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
