From August 1-31, at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Dong Mo, Son Tay, Hanoi), activities will be held in August with the theme "Summer - Experience and Discovery " to introduce the culture, customs and practices of the ethnic groups, along with experiential activities at the "Common House" of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.
August activities with the participation of more than 100 people of 16 ethnic groups (Nung, Tay, Mong, Dao, Muong, Lao, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, Co Tu, Raglay, E De, Khmer) along with 11 localities with ethnic minorities (DTTS) who are active daily in the Village (Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, Ha Giang, Son La, Hoa Binh, Thua Thien Hue, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Ninh Thuan, Dak Lak, Soc Trang).
The program has many activities such as: August thematic activities with the theme "Summer - Experience and discovery"; folk song and dance programs "Return to the village", "Happy village dance", "I love my village" of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands, ethnic minorities in the North and of ethnic minority groups that are active daily in the Village, expressing love for the homeland and country, introducing traditional cultural beauty...
In addition, there are also weekend activities with programs of ethnic groups that are regularly operating in the Village to introduce traditional culture according to the unique identity of each ethnic group. There, visitors can learn about architecture, costumes, folk songs and dances, festivals...
On this occasion, there are also activities introducing traditional folk games and performing traditional musical instruments. Experience and exchange performances and traditional folk art forms typical of ethnic groups that are active daily in the Village such as: Dinh Nam blowing, Ay Ray singing, lithophone, gongs, xoang dance... activities introducing, teaching, experiencing traditional musical instruments (learning to play Dinh Put, To Rung, Chapi), traditional folk games, sports... of ethnic minority groups.
Daily activities at the Village continue to introduce visitors to the unique cultural and culinary features of the ethnic communities living in the Village. At the same time, there are also experiential activities to meet the needs of groups, serving tourists visiting the route, introducing the culture and customs of the people.
Experiential activities at the "Common House" of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups contribute to enhancing exchanges between ethnic groups and attracting tourists to the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
