The symbolic block "Heart of Vietnam Love" is a meaningful project on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the twinning between Hanoi , Hue and Ho Chi Minh City (October 8, 1960 - October 8, 2025) and the 71st anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025).
The heart block placed in front of the word Vietnam is made from thousands of ceramic tiles shaped like rice grains and hundreds of peach and apricot blossoms. Among them, the bright red peach blossoms form the shape of a map of Vietnam.
On the surface of the Vietnamese word are familiar images of natural landscapes and architectural heritages representing the rich history of the three regions of North - Central - South.
The Northern region has typical architectural images of the capital Hanoi such as Khue Van Cac, One Pillar Pagoda, Long Bien Bridge; the Central region has images of Hue City such as Hue Imperial City, Dong Ba Market, Truong Tien Bridge; the Southern region has images of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building, Nha Rong Port, Ben Thanh Market, rivers of the West...
The bronze drum is placed in the heart of a stylized dove representing the Vietnamese people's desire for peace .
On the sides of the Vietnamese lettering are the geometric patterns of bronze drums.
The iconic block is made of reinforced concrete and covered with blue glazed ceramic, painted on a white porcelain background.
The iconic block was designed by artist Nguyen Thu Thuy, who also designed the Ceramic Road along the Red River in Hanoi and the Ceramic Flag in Truong Sa.
The symbolic block "Heart of Love for Vietnam" stands out in the green space of Thong Nhat Park, surrounded by the old train tracks like a historical journey, with a message of peace, solidarity and the revival of cultural values in modern life.
