Giving gifts to 150 households in difficult circumstances on the border

Song Trang Border Guard Station, Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with Hung Dien Commune People's Committee and "Connecting Love" volunteer group to organize a program to give gifts and hand over charity houses to households in difficult circumstances in Hung Dien Commune, Tay Ninh Province.

Giving gifts to households in difficult circumstances

At the program, officers and soldiers of the Song Trang Border Guard and members of the volunteer group presented 150 gifts (including essential necessities) to disadvantaged households in the area, with a total value of 50 million VND. Although the gifts were not large in material value, they contained the sentiment of sharing, the spirit of "helping each other" and the responsibility of officers and soldiers of the unit and the kind hearts towards the people of the border.

In addition, the program also handed over a charity house to the family of Mr. Vo Van Hoa (born 1971, Song Trang hamlet, Hung Dien commune) - a family with especially difficult circumstances.

The house has an area of ​​50 square meters, including 1 living room, 1 bedroom and auxiliary works; total construction cost 150 million VND, supported by the volunteer group "Connecting Love" (HCMC).

During the construction process, officers and soldiers of the Song Trang Border Guard and local people actively contributed labor and materials. Mr. Vo Van Hoa shared: "The new house not only helps the family have a stable place to live but also gives the family more confidence and determination to work and produce with peace of mind, and escape poverty."
