Can Tho City Electricity Company is managing and operating 27 110kV transformer stations, with a total capacity of more than 2,000 MVA along with thousands of kilometers of medium and low voltage lines... ensuring stable power supply for more than 1.1 million customers. However, to meet the goal of providing safe and reliable power supply for the city in the remaining months of 2025, the company has directed high voltage teams and power management teams in 103 communes and wards to effectively implement plans for operating and maintaining the power system, ensuring stable and reliable power supply for loads during the year. At the same time, strengthen inspection of transformer stations along with 110kV and 22kV power grids, especially in areas with many construction works, industrial zones along with key areas... to ensure stable power supply, serving the production, business and daily life needs of people, as well as ensuring good power supply for important events as required by the city.

In addition, to respond and quickly handle incidents that occur during storms, Can Tho City Electricity Company has inspected power grids and transformer stations to promptly detect and prevent electrical leakage incidents, causing unsafe power systems as well as risks that do not ensure the safety of people's lives and property. Organize repairs, renovations, and cleaning of medium and low voltage power grids and 110kV power stations, replace rusty electrical cabinets in residential areas, public places, etc. The Company also requires 28 local power management teams to fully prepare human resources, materials, equipment, communication systems and means of transport, ready to quickly handle arising incidents, etc. to ensure timely power supply, serving the electricity needs of customers in the last months of 2025.

In addition, the power management teams also organize inspections of the power grid, lighting systems, telecommunication cables and notify the management units to promptly fix and handle defects; coordinate with the city's functional departments and local authorities to strengthen the inspection of high-voltage power grid corridor safety as well as violations of electrical safety. In particular, before the rainy season, the power management teams together with relevant units organize clearing and trimming of trees in or near the power grid safety corridor, to prevent the risk of trees falling into the power grid when storms and rainstorms occur.

Along with technical work, Can Tho City Electricity Company has been implementing many forms of propaganda, instructing people on safe electricity use through social networks Facebook, EVNSPC customer care app; distributing leaflets, hanging billboards, posters with many propaganda slogans in crowded places such as traditional markets, schools, entertainment areas; directly propagating to households living near or in the high-voltage power grid corridor...

From now until the end of 2025, the demand for construction works, house repairs... of many units and people will increase. To prevent risks of electrical insecurity when constructing houses and works located in the high-voltage power grid corridor, the electricity industry has deployed many forms of propaganda, guiding construction units and people living in or near high-voltage power grid works to properly implement electrical safety measures, in order to prevent risks of electrical insecurity, causing damage to property and life.
