In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang hydroelectric reservoir has an upstream water level of 115.6 m (normal water level is 120 m), water flow to the reservoir is 5,070 m³/s, total discharge is 1,215.62 m³/s through a deep discharge gate.

In the Northwest, Lai Chau hydroelectric reservoir has an upstream water level of 294.75 m (normal water level 295 m), inflow to the reservoir of 1,643 m³/s, total discharge of 1,746 m³/s through 1 surface discharge gate.

Ban Chat Hydropower Reservoir reaches upstream water level of 474.97 m (normal water level 475 m), inflow to the reservoir is 675 m³/s, total discharge is 638 m³/s through 1 surface discharge gate.

Son La Hydropower Reservoir has an upstream water level of 214.9 m (compared to the normal rise of 215 m), flow to the reservoir of 4,120 m³/s, total discharge of 1,731 m³/s.

Hoa Binh Hydropower Reservoir has an upstream water level of 113.47 m (normal water level 117 m), flow to the reservoir of 5,401 m³/s, total discharge of 5,947 m³/s through 2 deep discharge gates.

Hoi Quang Hydropower Reservoir has an upstream water level of 370.01 m (normal water level is 370 m), inflow to the reservoir is 746 m³/s, total discharge is 740 m³/s through 2 surface discharge gates.

Thac Ba Hydropower Reservoir reaches upstream water level of 56.72 m (normal water level 58 m), inflow to the reservoir is 893 m³/s, total discharge is 281.74 m³/s.

In the North Central region, Trung Son hydroelectric reservoir opened 5 spillway gates; Ban Ve hydroelectric reservoir opened 1 spillway gate; Quang Tri hydroelectric reservoir opened 1 spillway gate.

In the South Central region, A Vuong, Song Bung 2 and Song Ba Ha hydropower reservoirs all opened one sluice gate to regulate floods. In the Central Highlands, many hydropower reservoirs are also releasing water to regulate: Pleikrong, Se San 3, Se San 4 and Buon Tua Srah all opened two sluice gates; Srepok 3 opened four sluice gates; Buon Kuop opened three sluice gates; Ialy, Se San 3A and An Khe hydropower reservoirs also opened three sluice gates. In the Southeast, Tri An hydropower reservoir is opening one sluice gate.

According to EVN, the flood discharge operations of hydroelectric reservoirs were carried out in accordance with procedures, ensuring safety for the works and downstream areas, while contributing to reducing flood pressure on river basins in the context of heavy rain after storm No. 11.
