Exhibition 'Communist Party of Vietnam'

The exhibition is directed by the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and organized by the Ho Chi Minh Museum. The event is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025); welcome congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; and celebrate major holidays in 2025.

The exhibition is divided into 7 sections including: "The birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam - Historical choice", "The struggle for power (1930 - 1945)", "The resistance war and national construction (1945 - 1954)", "Building socialism in the North and the peaceful struggle to unify the country (1954 - 1975)", "Building the country and defending the socialist Fatherland (1975 - 1986)", "Innovation and development (1986 - 2024)", "The new era of development - The era of the Vietnamese people's rise".

With more than 200 images, documents and artifacts, the exhibition "The Communist Party of Vietnam - 95 years of accompanying the nation" introduces to the public the 95-year journey of the Communist Party of Vietnam in assuming the mission of leading the country and accompanying the nation; Under the leadership of the Party, the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese people has achieved great victories of epochal significance, changing the lives of each person and the destiny of the nation. Thereby, continuing to affirm the role, prestige, capacity and fighting strength of the Party on the path of the Vietnamese revolution, contributing to fostering the trust of all cadres, party members and people in the leadership of the Party in the new era of development - the era of national growth.

In his opening speech, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum Vu Manh Ha recalled the history of exactly 95 years ago, from January 6, 1930 to February 7, 1930, in Kowloon, Hong Kong (China), the Conference to establish the Communist Party of Vietnam took place under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Ai Quoc (Ho Chi Minh). The birth of the Party was an important turning point in the history of the Vietnamese revolution, ending the period of crisis in the path to save the country, opening a new period in the cause of national liberation, building a Vietnam for the goal of independence associated with socialism, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by President Ho Chi Minh.

According to Mr. Vu Manh Ha, the images, documents and artifacts in the exhibition have introduced an overview of the 95-year journey of the Communist Party of Vietnam in taking on the mission of leading the country and accompanying the nation. Under the leadership of the Party, headed by President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnamese people defeated many invaders, creating great miracles in the 20th century such as: The victory of the August Revolution in 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam - the first people's democratic state in Southeast Asia; The Dien Bien Phu victory that resounded throughout the five continents, shaking the world in 1954; The Great Spring Victory in 1975, completely liberating the South, unifying the Fatherland. After the country was completely independent and unified, our Party continued to lead the cause of national construction and defense and the renovation process from 1986 to present, with many remarkable achievements in economics, culture, society, national defense, security, diplomacy and many other important fields.

Mr. Vu Manh Ha emphasized that, looking back at the past history, it can be affirmed that the correct and wise leadership of the Party is an important factor, deciding all victories of the Vietnamese revolution. It is in the process of leading the revolution that the Communist Party of Vietnam has been tempered, tested and constantly matured, worthy of its role and historical mission to lead the nation, worthy of the people's trust. Always innovating its leadership methods, the Communist Party of Vietnam has enough mettle, intelligence, experience, prestige and ability to lead the country to overcome all difficulties and challenges to bring the country to prosperous development, our people to have a prosperous, free and happy life. Proud of the glorious Party, of the great President Ho Chi Minh, the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people have more confidence in the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam to continue to bring the Vietnamese nation into a new era of development - the era of national growth.

Also in this exhibition, the Ho Chi Minh Museum introduces to the public a number of documents and artifacts related to the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh collected from the French Republic in 2024.

The exhibition is open to visitors until April 10, 2025
