Launching environmental sanitation campaign to prevent dengue fever in Ky Lua ward, Lang Son province

As of September 18, 2025, Ky Lua Ward has had 09 cases of dengue fever, including 06 endogenous cases and 03 exogenous cases. No cases of Chikungunya have been recorded. To prevent the outbreak of dengue fever and prevent the appearance of Chikungunya in the area, on September 19, 2025, Ky Lua Ward has deployed environmental sanitation, killing mosquitoes, larvae, and pupae to each household, especially households in the area with dengue fever patients.

Spraying disinfectants in areas at high risk of transmitting Dengue fever

Responding to the environmental sanitation campaign day, Cao Loc Regional Medical Center sent a shock team of the unit, along with officers of Ky Lua Ward Medical Station, to participate in killing mosquitoes, larvae and disinfecting the environment.

On this occasion, medical staff distributed 500 leaflets on dengue fever prevention and sprayed disinfectants on 1,200 ^m2 . At the same time, they instructed people to take measures to kill mosquitoes, larvae, and pupae in households and residential areas. When you see signs of high fever, headache, or rash, you should immediately notify the local authorities or go to a medical facility for timely examination and treatment.
