During the week from September 15 to 22, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long will carry out many important tasks, focusing on preparations for upcoming cultural, sports and tourism events.

The Department has completed a number of remarkable tasks. Regarding culture, the Department has submitted to the Provincial People's Committee a proposal to award Certificates of Merit to groups with outstanding achievements in participating in the National Achievement Exhibition.

In terms of sports, the Vinh Long delegation achieved great success at the 31st National Vovinam Championship in 2025, with an impressive achievement of 18 medals (02 gold, 08 silver, 08 bronze) and ranked 6th out of 22 participating delegations.

In the following week, the Department will focus on key tasks such as: Submitting to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration of the proposal to include "Traditional craft of brick and pottery production in Thay Cai canal, Mang Thit district" in the List of national intangible cultural heritage.

Develop a plan to organize the Ceremony to announce the decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on including "The craft of making Mao (hats and masks of the Khmer people" in the List of national intangible cultural heritage.

Coordinate with Vinh Long Volleyball Federation to organize Vinh Long Open Volleyball Tournament 2025.

Continue to deploy tasks to serve the 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
