Live CAHN Club vs Lion City Sailors: Overcoming challenges

Among these, the match between CAHN Club and Lion City Sailors at Hang Day Stadium is attracting the attention of Vietnamese audiences as the V-League representative will face a Singaporean club that has been heavily invested in recently.

To prepare for this match, the Singapore representative brought to Hanoi the best force, only missing foreign player Rui Pires due to suspension. With the remaining 5 foreign players including Lennart Thy, Bart Ramselaar, Maxime Lestienne, Bailey Wright and Toni Datković, Lion City Sailors is expected to bring to Hanoi a squad of expensive foreign players. According to Transfermarkt's valuation, these 5 foreign players are worth up to 4.4 million Euros (more than 100 billion VND). The most expensive is midfielder Bart Ramselaar (1.8 million Euros).

Besides foreign players, Lion City Sailors also has Singaporean players such as Izwan Mahbud, Shawal Anuar, Christopher van Huizen or Song Ui-young. Lion City Sailors showed their determination to win the match at Hang Day after previously losing 0-3 to Borneo on the opening day.

In recent matches, Lion City Sailors have been in good form. Especially in the opening match of the Asian Cup C2, the Singapore club surprisingly defeated the Chinese Zhejiang club with a score of 2-0.

As for CAHN Club, the V-League representative started the Southeast Asian Cup 2019 with excitement when defeating Buriram 2-1, but then had an unsatisfactory first two matches in the V-League when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Hai Phong FC and defeated by Thanh Hoa with a score of 1-0.

Sharing before the match, CAHN coach Polking said: "The match against Lion City Sailors is very important. Our goal is 3 points and further to reach the semi-finals. We have started well and will play at home again. Being able to compete in the Southeast Asian Cup C1 this year helps us a lot, the club will face strong opponents.

We are missing striker Alan, I am trying to find a solution with Leo Artur, Dinh Bac and Van Do. It is just a matter of time because they are all quality players. We hope that in the next match, CAHN Club will do better in converting opportunities into goals."
