Provincial Party Secretary celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival with children in Ganh Hao

On the evening of October 4, comrade Nguyen Ho Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, along with leaders of the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province attended and celebrated with more than 1,500 children of the coastal commune of Ganh Hao in the Mid-Autumn Festival program.

Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai presented Mid-Autumn lanterns to children in Ganh Hao commune.

Provincial leaders and Provincial Youth Union give Mid-Autumn gifts to children.

With the theme “Joining hands for the children” for the 10th time, the festival brought to students of Kim Son Primary School and Chu Van An Primary School a bustling atmosphere, sparkling with colorful lanterns, along with many lion dance performances and folk games. The joy exploded when the children received candy, lanterns and meaningful gifts from the accompanying units.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang awarded the Provincial People's Committee certificate of merit to Mr. Tran Dinh Bao, Head of the Kindness Group.

Along with the entertainment activities, the Organizing Committee coordinated with Children's Hospital 1 (Ho Chi Minh City) and the Provincial Department of Health to examine and provide free medicine for 1,500 children, with a total cost of nearly 360 million VND.

Within the framework of the program, more than 1,280 gifts were also given to policy families, poor households, near-poor households and households in difficult circumstances in 5 communes: Ganh Hao, Dong Hai, An Trach, Long Dien and Tan Thuan, with a total value of over 640 million VND.

Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Youth Union Pham Tuan Tai said: "The program not only brings children a complete Mid-Autumn Festival, but also contributes to spreading the spirit of sharing, lighting up faith and hope for a bright future."
