Plastic chairs that normally cost only a few tens of thousands of dong are now being charged up to 60,000 VND each. Even ladder rental services have become the top choice for many families who want a good view. A 5-step ladder is priced at 300,000 VND for a few hours, with a deposit required to reserve a spot.

On the night of September 1, Hanoi was brightly lit and bustling with festive atmosphere. Every street around Ba Dinh Square was packed with people, many families brought mats, folding chairs, lunch boxes, and drinks to stay up all night to reserve a spot.
From adults to children, they gathered to sing and chat animatedly. Everyone stayed up all night, looking forward to witnessing the historic parade tomorrow morning.

At 8pm, Trang Thi street area was crowded with people, both sides of the sidewalk were almost full.
