Chongqing Medical Center inspects medical response to floods in Quang Han commune

According to the report of Quang Han Commune Health Station, due to the impact of storm No. 10 causing heavy rain , water from many places flowing in the commune has flooded widely. As of the morning of October 1, more than 400 households and Quang Vinh Health Center, 3 schools including: Quang Vinh Kindergarten, Quang Vinh Primary School, Quang Vinh - Luu Ngoc Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities were deeply submerged in water, greatly affecting the lives of people.

The medical station has been built Disease prevention plan; Plan to ensure clean water and environmental sanitation during the rainy season. Mobilize local forces to help clean, check, and rearrange medical equipment at Quang Vinh Medical Center.

Quang Han commune authorities deployed rescue measures for people affected by rain, floods and inundation.

The Medical Center has provided materials, chemicals , and disinfectant sprayers to focus on environmental treatment, water treatment in flooded areas, schools, medical points, and flooded households. Coordinated with Quang Han Commune Health Station, Quang Vinh Medical Point to spray chemicals to disinfect the environment, treat water sources to prevent and fight epidemics in flooded areas. and households, livestock and poultry barns were flooded after the water receded.

At the same time, guide people to clean up the environment and treat water sources for daily life according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health . Strengthen propaganda to raise awareness of infectious disease prevention in the community .
