On the morning of August 24, Major General Phung Ngoc Son, Deputy Director and Chief of Staff of the General Department of Logistics and Technology, Deputy Head of the Parade and March Subcommittee A80 of the Ministry of National Defense chaired a conference on logistics and technical support for the implementation of the parade and marching tasks at the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (task A80).

Over the past time, agencies and units have thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the directives of the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of Logistics and Technology, and instructions from specialized departments on logistics and technical support for the A80 mission as well as in the general training session.
Promoting the sense of responsibility, the logistics and technical staff have overcome difficulties and basically completed the assigned tasks well. The contents have been implemented quite well.
During the first training session at Ba Dinh Square on the evening of August 21, the units organized meals for the troops according to the correct standards and regimes. The quality of the main afternoon meal from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the basic assembly locations was basically suitable for the conditions of mobile camping, ensuring food hygiene and safety. The drinking water points in the Square and Botanical Park were well organized. The military uniforms of the basic units were sufficient.
The work of ensuring military medicine is tightly organized; 12 military medical stations are organized with adequate equipment, medicine, and medical supplies, including 2 emergency, treatment, and resuscitation centers, 4 emergency tents deployed at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command; 8 emergency stations are deployed at 8 locations to ensure military medicine is ready to deploy for military parades, street parades, and assembly areas to classify, provide emergency care, treat, and transport in mass emergency situations.
During the process of moving on the road and moving military vehicles to the assembly location at the Ministry of National Defense Command Headquarters, the F1 Racetrack ensures absolute safety for people and vehicles. The movement of military vehicles from the assembly locations to Ba Dinh Square area is guaranteed to have enough fuel, on time, and absolutely safe.
Hundreds of cars of all kinds were secured to serve the general training session. 100% of military vehicles were labeled with the military branch logo to participate in the parade; 9 technical support teams of 2 specialties (motorcycles and armored vehicles) were established.

The assigned agencies and units have organized to ensure enough electricity, water, and basically enough toilets for the forces participating in the general training. The Capital Command has coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee to install 598/612 single toilets and 11 field toilets to ensure aesthetics and good quality.
On the evening of August 24, the forces participating in mission A80 will conduct the second combined training at Ba Dinh Square.
To best prepare for the second general training session as well as for the preliminary and final rehearsals and the official Celebration Ceremony, Major General Phung Ngoc Son requested that units continue to organize meals for soldiers according to the prescribed regime and standards, ensuring flexibility and suitability to the actual conditions of each session (time, gathering location, weather...), ensuring absolute food hygiene and safety; clean the area, put leftovers and garbage in the right place; organize service forces and divide into many points to ensure drinking water, especially water supply points on the roads.
At the same time, units inspect and guide soldiers to wear proper uniforms, especially ceremonial uniforms, and manage and use them properly and strictly to avoid damage or loss.
Major General Phung Ngoc Son noted that the military medical force in general and the medical units in particular need to regularly check and grasp the health status of the troops; especially pay attention to the health of the drivers of the units. The medical teams must be on duty in the right positions and must always be ready to promptly and effectively handle any arising situations.
Regarding the technical condition of weapons, equipment, vehicles, and equipment, units need to regularly check both before and after performing tasks; absolutely must not be subjective, avoid passive and unexpected situations during the performance of tasks. Technical support forces must be on duty at the right designated positions, especially at Ba Dinh Square, ready to promptly handle situations.
Military vehicle and artillery units should pay attention to uniformly implementing regulations on turning on straight-ahead turn signals and size lights when participating in performing tasks; after completing the task, return to the assembly location, organize tight lashing, guard closely, regularly check, have measures to prevent fire and explosion, prevent rats from biting the electrical wires of vehicles, equipment, etc. to ensure the best technical condition./.
