Thuan An is a border commune, a key area for national security and defense, with a large population of ethnic minorities. The commune was established on the basis of merging two communes, Thuan An and Dak Plao (formerly Dak Mil district, Dak Nong province).
According to the report of the Thuan An Commune Party Committee, the Commune Party Committee has 37 grassroots party organizations. The preparation work for the organization of the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term has been carried out on schedule, in accordance with requirements and regulations. The first Commune Party Congress is expected to be held in 2 days, July 21 and 22, with the participation of more than 180 official and alternate delegates.
Regarding the operation of the new commune-level government model, the staff and civil servants of Thuan An commune have urgently and enthusiastically kept up with the work, basically solving the needs of the people.
However, like many other localities, Thuan An commune is facing difficulties in facilities, especially machinery and equipment, digital infrastructure... which causes delays in processing records of people and businesses.
At the meeting, Secretary of Thuan An Commune Party Committee Le Van Hoang proposed that Lam Dong province soon allocate funds to implement activities according to functions and tasks, especially funds for organizing the Commune Party Congress. At the same time, consider and arrange for the construction of headquarters or renovation of the headquarters of some supporting agencies...
Through the actual inspection and preliminary report, Head of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Huynh Ngoc Anh assessed that despite difficulties, Thuan An commune has implemented the arrangement, organization of the apparatus, staffing and operations to ensure compliance with regulations.
In particular, the preparation work for the organization of the Thuan An Commune Party Congress has been directed and implemented fully, urgently and on schedule by the locality. The comments of the Provincial Party Standing Committee were seriously accepted by the Thuan An Commune Party Committee, perfecting the content of the documents serving the 1st Commune Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee acknowledged the locality's recommendations. In the coming time, Lam Dong province will focus on investing in upgrading the commune's infrastructure and facilities in the spirit of supporting the commune with more difficult circumstances first.
Before, during and after the congress, Thuan An commune continued to promote propaganda work, proactively orientate ideology, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people while ensuring security and order so that the congress took place safely, in accordance with regulations and effectively.
The leader of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee emphasized that in the coming time, the entire political system of Thuan An commune will continue to promote responsibility and make efforts to implement the targets of the Resolution of the Commune Party Committee; cadres and civil servants must improve the quality and attitude of serving the people in performing public duties.
