Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway project will start construction on December 19, 2025

On the morning of October 6, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai chaired a working session with Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 and related departments and branches on the progress of selecting investors for the Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway project.

The meeting reviewed the progress and promoted the project to start construction on December 19, 2025, as directed by the Prime Minister .

According to the report of the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1, the unit is reviewing the bidding documents, preparing the bidding documents, announcing the bidding, and then organizing the selection of investors. The Board will establish a contract negotiation team before November 15, 2025, and complete the evaluation of bidding documents and approve the results of investor selection before December 3, 2025.

Departments, branches and sectors attending the meeting

After the Provincial People's Committee approves the results of investor selection, the Board will propose to determine the location for the groundbreaking ceremony, complete site clearance of the groundbreaking area to hand over to the investor to prepare for the groundbreaking ceremony before November 30, 2025.

At the meeting, the Board requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to focus human resources to coordinate with the People's Committees of communes to organize site clearance and hand over to investors (after the winning bid results) to prepare the site for construction commencement.

The Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway project has a total length of 65.88km, starting at Km 59+798.33 (connecting with Dau Giay - Tan Phu expressway, Dong Nai ) and ending at Km 125+675 (intersection with Nguyen Van Cu street, Ward 1 Bao Loc, Lam Dong).

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai requested to review and soon announce the bidding documents.

Concluding the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai directed the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 1 to continue reviewing procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promptly completing bidding procedures. The Department of Finance promptly appraised the bidding documents.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to plan a competition to clear the land for this expressway. Thereby, ensuring timely handover of the land to the winning bidder.
