Meanwhile, Quang's third choice is Social Work at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education with a standard score of 25.63, higher than Quang's score.

On the morning of August 25, when the Ministry of Education and Training opened the online admission confirmation system, Quang looked it up and received the result that all his wishes were rejected.

The male student fell into a situation where he failed to get into Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, but the system of the next school reported him as a pass, but the system of the 4th school reported him as a fail.

Quang repeatedly checked the results on the system of Ho Chi Minh City Open University but still received notice that he had been admitted to Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.

Afterwards, Quang called and emailed Ho Chi Minh City Open University to report the problem he encountered and hoped it would be resolved soon.

The student said that he was very worried these past few days because he was admitted but could not confirm his admission. Quang could not understand why students who were admitted had to fend for themselves and ask for confirmation of their admission.

“August 30 is the deadline to confirm my enrollment on the Ministry’s system. I didn’t dare tell my parents about my situation for fear of worrying them,” Quang said.

Candidate Le Minh Quang is one of many cases where candidates had enough admission scores according to their registered wishes but failed all their wishes.

These candidates registered for admission to Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, although they did not have enough points to be admitted to the school, they could not continue with their next wishes.

Speaking to Dan Tri reporters on the morning of August 26, a representative of Ho Chi Minh City Open University said that the school's training department had received information about the candidate's incident. The school will soon handle and respond to the incident.

Previously, on August 24, the Department of Higher Education , Ministry of Education and Training sent a notice to training institutions and departments of education and training with instructions on admission scores.

In particular, the notice emphasized that "For admission announcements, training institutions are requested to clearly state that admission scores are the most important legal basis, and the list attached to the decision can be adjusted if errors are detected."

In order for candidates to confirm their admission, the Ministry of Education and Training requires all training institutions to review the list of admitted candidates and upload them to the system.

The Department of Higher Education requires absolutely not to put unqualified candidates on the System.
