Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry announced the floor score, down 1 point compared to 2024

(NLDO) - Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry has just announced the minimum admission score by considering high school graduation exam scores and converting scores between methods.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry has a minimum score for admission to full-time undergraduate programs for all majors (not applicable to pharmacy and law majors) of 18 points for the general program and 17 points for the English-enhanced program. Compared to 2024, the minimum score decreased by 1 point.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry uses 4 admission methods. Candidates admitted to Quang Ngai Branch will receive a 50% reduction in tuition fees and enjoy all benefits as students at the main campus.

For the law group (including the general program and the English-enhanced program), the minimum score is 18 points. In which, the minimum score for literature or math is 6.0 points for combinations with only one of these two subjects; the minimum score for literature and math is 6.0 points if the combination includes both subjects.

For the pharmaceutical industry, the floor score is according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training . Candidates should note that the floor score is the total score of the 3 subjects in the admission combination (without multiplying the coefficient and without adding priority points).

Rules for converting equivalent points between methods

Based on the results of the analysis of cumulative scores of students' learning outcomes and the admission score distribution of admission methods in the past 2 years, the school has built a correlation function to convert admission scores between admission methods.

1. The equivalent conversion function between the admission score by considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores to the admission score by considering the 12th grade high school study results combined with outstanding achievements (if any).

2. Function to convert admission scores using the method of considering the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025 on a 30-point scale.

- X is the admission score based on the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025 (on a scale of 1,200)

- Y is the admission score by considering the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025 converted to a 30-point scale.
