Quy Nhon University announces new term School Council

Quy Nhon University announced its new term of the University Council, aiming to become an advanced, modern, and prestigious university in the Southeast Asian region.

On the morning of July 23, the Ministry of Education and Training coordinated with Quy Nhon University (located in Gia Lai province) to organize a conference to announce the University Council and Chairman of the University Council for the 2025-2030 term.

Representative of the Ministry of Education and Training announced the decision to recognize the School Council and Chairman of the School Council of Quy Nhon University.

According to the announced decision, the new term of the Quy Nhon University Council consists of 19 members: 4 ex-officio members, 9 members from the university, 1 representative of the Ministry of Education and Training and 5 members from outside the university. The organizational structure includes the Standing Committee of the University Council and 4 professional committees: Organization - Personnel and Legal Affairs; Training and Quality Assurance; Science, Technology and Cooperation; Finance - Facilities.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Ngoan was elected Chairman of the School Board for the 2025-2030 term.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Ngoan affirmed that he and the University Council will promote the strategic and supervisory role, continuing the achievements of the previous term, aiming to build Quy Nhon University into an advanced, modern, and prestigious university in the country and Southeast Asia.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Ngoan was elected Chairman of the Board of Quy Nhon University for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Ngoan also emphasized key orientations such as streamlining the apparatus, improving the quality of lecturers, promoting financial autonomy, digital transformation, strengthening business and international cooperation, to improve the quality of training, scientific research and the lives of cadres and civil servants.
