The Ministry of Public Security said that Clause 1, Article 14 of the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level stipulates: "The forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level are strengthened from the Civil Defense Force, the semi-professional Commune Police that are still being used, and the Captains and Deputy Captains of the Civil Defense Teams, or are selected according to the provisions of this Law."

You are currently a part-time communal police officer who is continuing to be used to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, and are eligible to be fully mobilized to participate in the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level (if you wish); The Law does not prohibit people participating in the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level from participating in activities in other forces and organizations, or people participating in other forces and organizations from participating in the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.
